“How could I know weather they are factory or not?”
” How can I choose a good factory?”
I am in charge of exporting for about 10 years,these kinds of questions never stopped from my clients or foreign friends.I would like to give you some tips from my private opinions.
1,To check its company name,this is the most direct way.you can clarify weather it is trading company or factory at once.
2, To see its product catagories,for professional industry factory will mostly focus on one-two kinds products, more products will be purchased from other factories to sell.so you has to know what is their main produced products.we call it manufacturer&trading company.A lot of companies stay like this way.
3,To see its website,if the products sell in many catagories and each catagory the product not relative much,or it can provides even all kinds of services,we will know it probably a trading company.
anyway,that is not mean factory must be better than trading company.From my experience,if you purchase many kinds of products and complex,trading company will be your best choice. cause most of the trading company has professional foreign sales can communicate better and save your time much. some small factories even no people can speak english.otherwise,find a good factory is the first choice for you.
1，Check its location,coastal city such as Guangzhou,Shenzhen,Shanghai,Dongguang,Ningbo these cities are born advantages for exporting,near the sea to save time and cost for you much.
2,Inspest its scale,usually less than 100 workers canbe called small factory,200-500 people canbe named middle large factory,above 500 people is large factory. most people will choose middle large factory,cause it allready has stable after service,professional foreign sales,and price competitive.
3,If there are 2 or more middle large factories quote you,price similar,then visit their factories. You will judge from its factory managment,workshop,R&D room,Certificates,max capacity,even the toilet can tell you something.
4,Communicate with its foreign sales,see weather can got your point or feel comfortable.cause in a long time you will be need to talk with her/him.
5,Get some ideas from other clients’ comment,or from their on line website such as the alibaba,from the ideas of your Chinese friends or relatives.
6,To know weather it has import and export right,not so imported but can help you to judge its actural strength.
